Service Description

Our six-week, 12 module program helps children aged between 8-11 years build essential social and emotional skills through equine-assisted learning (EAL). In a calm, supportive, and hands-on environment, participants develop confidence, emotional regulation, communication, empathy, resilience, and self-awareness - while working alongside our gentle horses. Each module is thoughtfully designed to be foundational for the next. Children begin with the basics of self-awareness and emotional regulation before moving into more complex themes like boundary-setting, trust, teamwork, and leadership. This progressive structure ensures that each experience prepares them for the next, creating real, lasting growth rather than one-off lessons. Children don't just talk about feelings - they learn how to navigate them in real time, through meaningful interactions with horses and peers. All activities are ground-based (no riding), making them safe and accessible for all children, regardless of their experience with horses. Whether your child struggles with anxiety, friendships, emotional regulation, or simply benefits from movement-based learning, this program offers a unique, nature-connected pathway for growth. Why choose us? * Experienced facilitators who understand both child development and equine-assisted learning * Ground-based, non-riding activities that focus on emotional safety, communication, and personal growth * Small group sizes (maximum of nine) to ensure each child is seen, supported, and encouraged * Real-world skills your child can apply at home, at school, and in friendships * Neurodivergent-affirming approach that celebrates differences and honours each child's unique way of thinking, feeling, and interacting * Animal-focused and ethical - our horses' wellbeing is a top priority. They live freely in a natural herd environment on our property and participate in sessions by choice, ensuring mutual respect and genuine connection * A safe space to build self-belief through connection - with horses, peers, and themselves. Through guided sessions, children learn how to regulate emotions, read social cues, set boundaries, and build positive relationships - all through experiential learning that sticks. Help your child step into their confidence, learn new skills and feel empowered - with the support of horses and a team who truly cares.
